Rod and Cheryl Floyd
Publishers, Natural Awakenings

Welcome to Natural Awakenings magazine Volusia Flagler Edition. We are Dr. Rod and Cheryl Floyd, Publishers and Editors in this area of Florida. The original Natural Awakenings Magazine was first published in Naples, Florida in 1994. We lived in Naples enjoying and benefiting from many issues of this valuable tool for better living.

When we decided to move to DeLand in 2005 we were delighted to discover that a franchise was available for this area. We see this magazine as an educational vehicle, a community connector, a way for people interested in natural healthcare, personal growth and spiritual enlightenment to share their interests and promote their businesses…naturally.

Our mission is to assist in educating and informing our readers regarding the importance of natural health care and the way it can complement traditional ways of thinking about health and wellness. For the growing number of residents interested in exploring alternative ways to obtaining better health, Natural Awakenings magazine provides a way of increasing their knowledge about this important life changing subject.

We have arrived at a time in our lives that supported change and growth. We are a couple of empty nesters reviving an earlier interest in owning a business together that supports our combined gifts and talents in education and health care. We enjoy serving this community of readers, contributors and advertisers with Volusia/Flagler’s Natural Awakenings healthy living magazine.
